    Hi Prorealcode,

I would like a program of the Renko-chart where it is still possible to see the underlying graphic of the stock (see examble attachment 1 ‘Normal Graph’).

Option 1: where you can see the Renko-bricks, and the graph at the same time in the same bricksize that one chooses (see example attachment 2 ‘Renko with Graph included visually’)

Option 2: where the graph is a bit ‘hidden’ and at the last brick of a sequenceperiod the high and low of the total brick is visually drawn with a line.. (see example attachtment 3 ‘Renko with shadowline-brick on last bar’)

i would prefer if both options where possible, and with the possiblity of vertikal lines that seperates the different ‘periods’ from eachother, that way it is also very easy to see the following sequences of the bricks over time..

It must me useful for the daily end of day/week/month data, but also for the intraday-data data (4 hour, 1 hour, 30 minutes etc etc).

    Greetings,

    Rob

There are several Renko bricks codes on the website that you can apply on a classical chart.

You can follow these tag links:

    Hi Nicolas,

I have seen those examples. Would it be possible to make a code that represents the exact the same boxsizes as in Renko and within these fixed renko boxes the normal graph of that ‘period’ visual in it? That way one can still see the fix boxsizes of Renko (as in attachtment 3), and the real corresponding graph underlying the forex boxes of that period. Ofcourse this gives a strange view, the V-shape of the Renco wil stay in place, and the graph will be sliced in different pieces corresponding with the boxes and periods. Thats how i would like to see it.

    Greetings,

    Rob

I understand what you mean, but it would involved a lot of custom coding? Why not using 2 charts window, one with normal price and the bottom one with renko, and put them on the same screen? The result would be the same!

I see, you are right! But maybe you can help me here? I see date of 7 november, in the upper graph it starts on 7 november. In the lower graph of renko as well. My question here is, when will i see this renkoblock in the software? directly on the 7 november and that block stay’s there no matter what, of only at the end at the 22 november?  If i see it in the 22 nov, is it possible to date the renko blocks not at the beginningdates, but on the real publication-dates/enddates (those publication-dates/enddates of the renkoblocks are the dates after a trader can use it for doing a next trade.

Since we can’t know in advance the end date of the renko brick, it is labelled with the start date. Between the 7 and 22 November, you will  see this new renko brick on the chart during its construction, but because you have set them to be built on Close price, it is obvious that it can also disappear and might also change its color from green to red.
