I’m trading with IG and looking at the daily chart for DJI.
Please see attached screenshots and below.
The opening level on the daily chart on 9th December 2020 is 30,275.2 (see attached DJI Daily Open 20201209) . This corresponds to the level at 5am UK time on 9th December 2020 (see attached DJI 1hr Open 20201209 5am).
The opening level on the daily chart on 13th October 2020 is 28,897.9 (see attached DJI Daily Open 20201013). This corresponds to the level at midnight UK time on 13th October 2020 (see attached DJI 4hr Open 20201013 midnight).
I have not made any changes to the timezone and trading hours settings on PRT. It is set at “Display all dates in the time zone set on my computer. For this session: (UTC+00:00) Europe/London +00:00”
It seems the UK time at which the next DJI daily candle opens in PRT has changed from midnight UK time to 5am UK time. This changed happened when the clocks changed in the UK at the end of October 2020.
Is this change in PRT correct? Is there an issue with my PRT data or this there something that I am missing or not aware of?
