Price Window colour change indicator

    apologies if this has been discussed or exists, i’ve spent a few days on the forum and not come across this yet (-; there’s alot to go through 😉

    1. new here but is there an easier way to search / scan the forums for content rather than browsing over every topic?
    2. I’m keen to understand if there’s an indicator that’ll change the price graph window to another colour if an indicator is a certain value: for example, if stochastics(K) is less than 30 then background = green (0,0,255)

    1. use the search box that opens whenever your mouse hovers your avatar on the top right corner of the blue bar
    2. yes, you can change the colour of candlesticks and/or the background colour, you can read https://www.prorealcode.com/prorealtime-indicators/supertrend-sar-background-indicator/ and https://www.prorealcode.com/prorealtime-indicators/3d-candle/.

    Robertogozzi, thank you for this, the links to the indicators were a treat too

     

    not sure what i’m doing wrong, probably need a few more months getting over the basics, but when i click add indicator to chart then it creates a separate layer for my indicaotr and doesnt return the output to the price chart window, any further pointers on examples or literature will be awesome

    ignore the above question, i figured out how to add indicaotrs to the price window – its such a noob issue – apologies

    To put it on the chart you need to click the spanner on the corner of your chart labelled PRICE, then select an indicator to be added to the price.
