Anybod else getting the attached message on their Demo Account?
IG / PRT are now limiting our total number of Systems in the ProOrder AutoTrading window to 50 (25 running and 25 not running).
The limit used to be 150 (25 running and 125 not running).

But (strangely?) IG / PRT appear to have increased our limit on running Systems as I now have 43 running (limit was 25) and it keeps accepting more!!

Something strange going on … I now have 133 Systems in the running section of the ProOrder AutoTrading window!!
I have Zero / 0 in the non-running Section, but I cannot add even 1 more as I still get the message I posted above.
I am expecting to wake up in the morning to 108 running Systems having been Stopped / Rejected!?

I’ve been tucked away for a little while now and only recently allowed out to play again … 🙂
I can’t speak to your specific problem but I can say that I’ve seen other ‘things’ going on and is related to exported / imported workspaces and having to delete *some* to make way for the imported backup.
There was a consolidation of some instruments a few weeks back that could be an ongoing process.
I was using Saturdays as ‘compression session’ to get a bit done and now half the weekend is gone or at best a little unreliable. IG used to be good at posting ‘outage / maintenance ‘ notifications on there login landing page and that’s not always a given recently, unfortunately, https://status.ig.com/ has also become unreliable as well.

There was an update pushed dated 02SEP not sure if that’s knocked (Version : v12.0.20240820030005)
It’s felt a little sluggish and one of my indicators for MACD (it’s a Nicolas product) the one that draws arrows @ H-L swings, was erroring with 1000 last bars, at 3000 came good (DAX E25 5min). Flagged ‘A positive integer field is expected with lowestBars’ until bar count was increased.
Not high jacking just spit-balling that what was working for months spat the dummy recently and could be related to maintenance / ongoing improvements. Not seen any memory errors so far, will see how the evening progresses. Still finding my way.

I have just got that message limitting me to 5o Auto strategies total. I previously had 200 autotrading.
I rotate my startegies and find the winning/losing attached to each strategy helpful. Now with 50 total — this makes tracking and deciding difficult.

Hi have the same problem, earlier 200 system and it seems that I can restart already active/saved systems but I get the message “… only 50 saved systems allowed…” when I try to start a new system.
Anyone, knowing the problem?
I am thinking the ‘max 50’ is the new rule by IG?
Maybe IG are allowing us to start all non-running Systems so that we can have a ‘sort out’ and get down below the ’50 max limit’ if we want to add more?
Above is what I am working on anyway … but it will take ages and is very boring!
I talked with IG in Sweden, they didn’t know anything about this.
If it’s not IG then it must a ‘PRT initiated change’ of the Platform rules?
It’s not all bad as it would appear that we can now have 49 Systems running and then add 1 new one? I could only run 25 Systems previously on the Complete System.
Or we could keep running ‘all old-saved Systems”, but then we can’t add any new Systems if over 50 in total.
Good News! Looks like it was a temporary aberration … PRT update on 5 Sep 24 and we can now add more new Systems!
I am going to continue to weed out old Systems, but I am finding that with a few tweaks here and there and a re-opti, many of my old moribund Systems (which were languishing in the ‘non-running section’) have plenty of life left in them!
I can just add that I was only able to run a maximum of 25 strategies on my “demo live”. This was on PRT 11, when I tried on PRT 12 I could add more than 25. Maybe this helps someone… 🙂 With IG..
