    Hi there, I have recently had to activate ProRealTime for my live account as the Demo trial period has ended. I have activated it for the live account but all of my data has gone including all of my custom indicators, backtesting and automatic trading codes. There is hours and hours of work gone into it that seems to have now disappeared.

    I have tried to re activate the demo account ProRealTime but it wont let me reactivate it or start it through the dashboard. Is there anyway that I can find the saved “template” from the demo account and load that into my live account?

    You need to re-enable Demo via the IG Platform under Settings …  see attached.

    Thankyou but I have already tried that and i get an error code telling me that I need to activate ProRealTime on my live account, but I’ve already activated it.

    There was a workaround that we used when IG suddenly culled a load of demo acounts a while back. If you look in your browser history and open an old link you might be able to get in to your old demo acount that way. Then you can backup your strategies and indicators and export them one by one (yes annoyingly one by one!)

    You should instead use the “export my personal data” button which will export ALL CODES FILES in txt format as a zip file.

    But not Systems in the ProOrder Auto-Trading window.

    Unfortunately the above ideas have not worked, I still cannot activate or access my demo version of ProRealTime. In answer to GraHal, yes i do have funds in my live account, but only the minimum allowed by initial deposit. I will see if IG will allow me to reactivate my Demo PRT tomorrow to give their systems time to notice that i have activated PRT in my live account if not i will contact them to see if they can sort the issue as i believe it is on their end.

    Yes it may take until midnight to throw the switch to allow you to activate Demo again.

    I guess the minimum you have deposited is £250? If not, maybe it should be … in order to be able to activate Demo?

    £250 is the minimum that can be transferred in when adding funds.

    Yes, it’s 300 € in EU is the minimum deposit.

    You have to pay 30 €/month, if not trading enough, to have the PRT platform available.

    You have to pay € 14/month after 1 year if you don’t place at least one order. If your account has less than 14 €, that money will be refunded and the account closed (maybe disabled until you reenable it again with € 300).
