    Hi all,

    Let’s say I have 2 different markets.

    • Australia 200 Cash CFD
    • German DAX 40 Cash CFD

Whenever I pull up the chart for the Australia 200 Cash CFD I would like to have custom indicators specific only to this market. Let’s just say for example:

    • EMA
    • Stochastics

And now when I switch the chart to German DAX 40 Cash CFD I want a different set of indicators. For example:

    • SMA
    • Bollinger Band

I’ve found that if I am using a single chart view in full screen and when I switch between each market it retains my indicator settings.

So each time I switch between Australia 200 to German DAX I have to unselect the EMA and Stochastics and then select SMA and Bollinger Band which can get tedious.

I was wondering if there is a way to bind indicators to particular markets?

Now I know one way is to use Multi-Chart view and for each chart window I can have different indicators. However I often use just one chart window in full screen mode which is why I am curious if there is such a setting binding indicators to specific markets.

    Thank you for your advice.

With the Premium version of PRT you can do what you want by means of dedicating different Link colours to each of the charts you want to behave differently. The trick in this case would be to pick either chart (“market” as you call it) from a List which also was appointed that colour. Notice that you can create Lists yourself with the content (markets) you like. In your example each List would contain one instrument (market).

By the same (Link color) means you could let open (automatically) different supporting charts per instrument (per color), like several for different Timeframes.

The possibilities are so many/versatile – up to your own creativity – that it is hard to explain it all (for you to verify) if you don’t have the Premium version.

You can also create “indicator groups” and apply them on each of the particular chart.

    Create a group with:

    • EMA
    • Stochastics

and click on Apply wheneven you are on the Australia 200 Cash CFD chart.

Thanks for the responses @Nicolas and @PeterSt.

    So here’s my understanding:

    • It is not possible to bind indicators to particular markets with the non-premium version of PRT.
    • However as a workaround I could use a feature called “Indicator Groups” for a slightly more convenient experience. I looked it up and found this for anyone referring to this thread in the future: https://www.prorealtime.com/en/new-features-ProRealTime-v11-1

I believe I can mark this support topic as resolved now. Thank you.
