IG PRT vs regular PRT

Hi To be able to test further back in time, I’ve accuered regular PRT. But I trade through IG’s PRT. What do you guys suggest testing a strategy on when i us the PRT 10.3? Say if i want to test a strategy on the CAC40, should i use the index or the future? What should i do about spread? Add 2 points, since thats what will be the spread when I trade it on the IG account? Regards Yngve

Hello David,

I’m actually in the same position as you. I’m also keen on activating Premium on my IG demo account. When I contacted IG they made a blanket statement that it’s not offered, Statement received, OK I’ll accept that. But then I remembered after my dialog with PRT when trying to set up the sponsored account that it’s actually PRT from their end who activates Premium on the IG account numbers. So I started search this forum just to see if anyone else had experiences and here I am. I’ve also just now submitted a request to my PRT account representative, let’s see what they say 🙂

I rang today and success!

Demo = Premium. Supposedly they sent an email to confirm the change but I can’t find it.
