How can I close attached pics?

It’s been a few days now that I regularly open attached pictures (in posts) but can’t close them anymore since the “x” disappeared. I have to update the webpage with my browser to work it around. Still the “x” is working good with pictures attached to indicators in the library. Is there any other way to close a pic in posts, after viewing it? Thanks. Roberto
