Dividend on Cac-40 CFD (IG Broker)

  I had today a small position at the cac-40 between 16:05 and 18:11.

  IG Charged my account for a dividend.

  If you have a position in a share or index and that share or a company from the index goes ex dividend, a settlement will take place with IG.

  In the case of a long position, the dividend will be paid out and in the event of a short position, the relevant dividend will be withheld.

  The dates for the dividend payments can be found in the economic calendar.
