Customisable Keltner Channel Indicator – FXCM LUA code

Would appreciate help in converting the attached Keltner Channel indicator for use in ProRealTime (PRT). The original code is FXCM’s LUA. I have attached the original code as well as a screenshot of the properties dialog box in which you can set the various variables. Many thanks.

I think that this one available in our library, already do that job: Customisable Keltner Bands

To get other price type for the calculation, replace “TypicalPrice” with “Customclose” at line 9. You’ll then be able to choose any other applied price to calculate the Keltner channel in the indicator setting window (like in the LUA one).

Many thanks for your reply Nicholas. Yes, have downloaded the one you mention and modified accordingly. However, one thing I would like to be able to change in is the colour options;

I would like to be able to set the colour for the middle as well as the upper and lower lines. Is it possible to do this? Also, I am new to ProRealTime and when I add the indicator it puts it

in a seperate panel instead of in the price panel. How can I add it to the price panel? Many thanks.

Hi Nicholas. Please disregard my previous; I have since found how to modify the colours for the lines. However, I am having the problem now that the indicator wants to open

in a seperate panel. How do I have it open to the price panel. Thanks. Scott

Just add it on the price by clicking on the wrench on the left upper side of the price chart.
