hello can someone point me in the direction, of post for call function,

to pull information from a custom indicator to hide your code?

I understand you need to have a skeleton code and can hide the rest in indicators,

I am used to writing strategy’s but yet have not touched on indicators

is there a limit to how many indicators you can use?

where are the certain functions that cant be used in a indicator but can be used in you strategy? for example i assume strategy profit cant be used ect..

where is your indicator stored when you send your strategy to someone else?

do you also send them the indicators and are they truly hidden?

or tell me how i can find a forum search function,

    thanks in advance Tony

Hover over your profile avatar at the top right and a search box can be found there.

Hover over help and you can find ProRealCode documentation and other helpful stuff.

Indicators can handle all your strategy that generate the signals, in order to be called by the ProOrder code. These indicators can be used to protect your strategy to be readable by user.

ProOrder/ProBacktest specific instructions can’t be used in indicator’s code.

You must export indicator not readable separated from the strategy..otherwise if you export the strategy that have ‘”call” instructions in the code, all the indicators will be also exported as readable.

This procedure is boring and a source of error, for this reason it has been fully automated for the sellers of our marketplace site which will open soon (more info here: ProRealCode MarketPlace: sell your trading products to thousands of ProRealTime users!)
