I’m new to PRT.   It seems the Automatic Quantity trading option is not suitable for CFD Shares because it calculates a fractional amount of shares.  Needless to say the trading server rejects these orders.

Perhaps there is a setting somewhere that I’m not aware of in order to force calculation to the nearest whole number quantity ?

Use the ROUND instruction in order to round your decimal number to the nearest round ones.

Thanks for your replay Nicolas.   However my question relates to the Auto Qty feature in the PRT user interface itself.   Not a coding question.  Please see new screenshot.

If it is not a coding question then you posted in the wrong forum and hence the reason for Nicolas’ suggestion. Please re-read the forum rules and familiarise yourself with the different forums before posting a topic again.

I will move your topic to the platform support forum.

For your information Vonasi – I DID originally post it in the platform forum !!!!   Someone else moved it to the coding forum, presumably Nicolas

For your information octans – I can have no idea that another moderator or even Nicolas has moved your post so I can only do my moderators job and comment that it is in the wrong place and move it to the right place. So many newbies fail to read the simple forum rules and post their first topics in the wrong place that moderators can only assume that when we find a forum members first ever topic in the wrong place that it is due to them and not due to Nicolas. I will send a message to Nicolas asking him to re-read his own forum rules!

Thank you for reading the forum rules and for posting in the correct place. 🙂
