AUTOMATED STRATEGIES AT TIMEFRAME(100tick)

  Hi all,

  I have a question, In my automated strategy I have used TIMEFRAME(100tick), when i launch the strategy the option for tick time frame is greyed out (IG Markets version),

  My only option is for 1 second charts but this strategy is really good for tick data.

  I am assuming tick automation is only a top licence pro feature, If I upgrade direct via PRT will that upgrade my IG version when I launch it?

  Never mind i figured it out, I forgot to select a market and because I never automated Tick level I assumed I was not allowed

  I don’t know why Automatic trading on ticks charts and range bars charts are not allowed, even indicators alert trading is allowed on them, and it’s also allowed in many platforms like MT4, is there a way that we can request PRT to develop that in the near future??

  MT4 does not have tick charts, you have to use third party software to do so and it’s a big hassle…

  Tick charts are independent from time and are built on the fly on your own platform. ProOrder are trading your algorithms server side, not on your computer. If x hundreds users are trading different custom ticks charts (since you can use 12 ticks or even 133 ticks, as you want), servers load would be enormous.
