Is there a convenient way to save/archive/export backtest results?

Making backtests (especially WF tests) is very time consuming. So it would be great to be able to archive the results for later comparison.

    • One Note
    • Excel
    • Screen shots
    • PDF prints of statistics reports
    • A good folder structure to save these things including backups of ITF file

Yes, it’s cumbersome. How many people here would like to have a custom built application for this? 🙂  What would you like to see on screen and how would you like to have it arranged?

This question makes me feel stupid but how does one print to a PDF file? This seems to be the solution i would prefer.

Top right hand corner of backtest detailed report. Press the print icon and select PDF.

@Maz: When i press print in the top right corner the window for printing opens but there is no option to print to PDF. I can choose “Print to file” but then the file is saved in a strange .prn format.

And i would of course also like a custom-built solution! 🙂

Depending on your OS  you may need to have a PDF print driver installed
