    Dear all,

I just got a bigger Mac mini i7 with 64gb of ram, and with a lot of surprise I noticed that PRT just caps it a 9gb and it takes the same time to boot the 200k candles as my 2016 MacBook with 8gb…

Is there a way to allocate more ram to PRT ???

I don’t think you can within PRT itself, but you may be able to within your Mac settings?

I’ve been browsing some forums trying to understand if with the new iOS is it possible but I found no Answer so far…

Kinda strange that more power does not deliver any speed increase in PRT

All the processing is done remotely on the PRT Servers.

Having said above PRT still manages to hog vast amount of RAM, which in your case would not be a problem if only you could allocate more to PRT.

Best would to ask PRT direct and refer them to this Thread to make it easy for you and so they get the full picture? Use the Form below.

Let us know on here how you get on please?

    With automated trading / backtests.
