hi,
how to code orders in both directions. I don´t want the system to sell my long contract when it opens a short one. is this possible?

It’s not possible from within a single strategy. You can create separate ones for long and short and as they are treated as separate entities that are not aware of each other you can have long and short positions existing at the same time on the same market.

I heard that for germans with limited risk account it isn’t possible to hold long short positions even with different strategies. But this is just what I heard (I have no limited risk account so for me it works to have long and short with different strategies simultaneously).

That’s right, limited risk account doesn’t allow to hold both direction on the same instrument at the same time, and even if you are not German 🙂
