hey, same discussion once again, we already had in the marketplace topic.
I don’t have anything to say about the fact that NordicAlgos is using another user account to discuss about coding in the forums. I know some of users are using many.. why?! I don’t know and I don’t care 🙂
Ok, then people are borrowing some others codes and that’s what we do here, share our best codes and people are using them to create money for themselves. That’s fine, after all it’s a site about trading, so why not 😉
Many vendors fork existing codes and modify them, amplify them and make them better, while providing follow-up and updates for their customers, for which they alone are responsible.
However, as a human being, and with all due respect to anyone who takes on this kind of responsibility (becoming a vendor), it can indeed be sometimes destabilizing (and annoying) to see one’s own codes resold without the slightest scruple, I’ve lived through it enough to know the kind of feelings it brings 🙄
However, unless I am mistaken, NordicAlgos does not resell code directly from strategies shared for free here on the forum. Perhaps if they could make test versions available, everyone could draw their own conclusions.
